DewDrop TeamThe Dewdrop Foundation is an Abuja based Non - Governmental Organization (NGO) with the support of ASHOKA Innovators for the public ( a U.S based NGO promoting social Entrepreneurship round the world)

Dewdrop Foundation primary focus is to develop and implement customized sustainable life-long learnership programs for effective capacity building at grassroots levels, empowering women and youth to become small to medium scale entrepreneurs. Our priority is to bring education through skills acquisition and alternative education in the delivery of domestic and hospitality services. We also aim at mitigating the ills of domestic child servitude and internal child trafficking. This we intend to achieve through our empowerment training program currently running in Karu. Abuja FCT, where women and youth are being trained in areas such as Housekeeping/Home management, Chef/Stewarding, Child care, Environmental care, and Basic Customer Service.

At the end of the program, the participants should be able to offer professional service in these areas thereby replacing the children who are rendering the same services in slave like conditions all over Nigeria , starting from Abuja . These children can then regain their childhood as well as go to school because very many of them don't go to school.

We hope to bridge the gap between the educated and uneducated, skilled and unskilled, rich and wretched in the Nigerian society through our programs.
