In July 2014, DDF partnered with the following national and International organisations to carry out is catering training program for young women and girls in Umuode community in Enugu Sttae; Ashoka Foundation – USA, Bart Nnaji Foundation, Image Brokers and Insurance Company Ltd, Protea Hotel, Abuja, CACHEZ, Nigerian Women Association of Georgia and Other Half Empowerment Initiative. The training lasted for a period of three months, July to September 2014, after which the Foundation provided the trainees with financial support and equipment to start up their businesses and also merged some of them to work with a professional caterer
