INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY 2021

This event is a commemoration of International Women’s Day 2021 which was organized by the Enugu State Ministry of Gender Affairs and Social Development.

The theme of this event was Women in Leadership and achieving an equal future in a Covid 19 world.

The mother of the day was, her Excellency Mrs. Monica Ugwuanyi wife of the Enugu State Governor.

Hon. Justice Ngozi Emehelu, Chief Judge of the State delivered a paper presentation on the ‘Legal Framework on Women’s Rights.

Women were urged to support each other especially the vulnerable ones. Women were also encouraged to take advantage of a CBN initiative which supports women in business
