The DDF project team members implementing a Voice-Funded project to curtail elder abuse in communities in Enugu State, in partnership with the Centre for Gender Economics Africa (CGE Africa), embarked on an M&E visit to ensure that project activities in the field were aligned with related action plans, indicators and donor mandates. It was also an opportunity to review the work of 20 persons who had been selected as community mobilizers, inform them of what was expected of them – their roles in the course of the project, and ensure they were well acquainted with their Terms of Reference. Bio data forms were handed over to the mobilizers, which they would use during their interactions with the elderly persons. The team was led by Mrs. Agatha Nnaji (Executive Director), Ms. Nneka Acholonu Egbuna (Assistant Program Coordinator), Mrs. Osen Ogunbameru (M&E Officer) and Mrs. Vivian Ugwu (Finance and Admin Officer).
